Peer Mediation aims to reduce school bullying and conflict through student mediation.  It facilities change by providing a school environment that is positive, caring, safe and friendly.  The program teaches students to resolve low-level conflicts by working through a problem in a step-by-step process with their peers as mediators.  It opens up the channels of communication by allowing the disagreeing students to discuss their problems and come to a resolution with the guidance of their peer mediators.

The Peer Mediation Student Booklet supports students undertaking training to become a Peer Mediator by teaching them skills in managing conflict, the six step process of mediation, and some helpful hints.
